Employees’ responsibility for violations in wage payment will be toughened in Mogilev region, Petr Rudnik ordered at today’s sitting of Mogilev region executive committee.
The committee’s chairman considers that “employees must be made disciplinary, administrative and even criminally liable for back pays, violations of labour legislation, and false statistical data. The respective suggestions have already been offered to Mogilev region’s Prosecutor”.
The cases of back pays were revealed practically in all agricultural organizations of the region during the monitoring having been undertaken. Within January – April arrears of payments (about Br5.5 bln) occurred in 40 organisations; besides, in many cases no deductions for the social protection fund were made.
Mogilev region executive committee’s chairman ordered to reinforce the coordination between all bodies of government, organizations concerned and banks in the field of wage payment.
